From an alternate Americana where they used the bomb in Korea, to tales within tales of witch civil wars and penny dreadful terror of Victorian London, we have a sweeping cinematic vista of very different people and places.

The Datura Press — because words make worlds
The Datura Press seeks to curate a striking catalog of creative fantasy fiction, gritty contemporary prose, and cinematic poetry. Each title we develop is an exercise in authentic, high-contrast storytelling, blending deep cultural literacy with an unapologetic, raw visceral core.
Our narratives sweep from shape-shifting castles in deepest Europe to the sun-baked deserts of Texas, traveling via the smoking mist of Victorian London. We love our characters very deeply, but still we refuse to spare them from the necessary, transformative crucibles of danger and ruin.
We walk an intense emotional path alongside our protagonists—and we confess a creeping sympathy for their adversaries. For us, the boundary between good and evil is never a rigid line; it is, after all, a beautifully grey landscape. We look forward to completing this initial gallery of heroes, heroines, and their thrilling fates, knowing it is merely the opening movement of a much larger journey ahead.
